These Artist Terms & Copyright Policy explain the rights and responsibilities of artists who upload content to NEMUZY, as well as how we protect intellectual property and handle copyright-related matters.
By uploading music or other content to NEMUZY, you agree to these Artist Terms in addition to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. Ownership of Your Content
You always remain the owner of your original work.
Uploading music, artwork, lyrics, videos or other creative content to NEMUZY does not transfer ownership of your copyrights to us.
NEMUZY does not claim ownership of your music.
Your intellectual property remains yours.
2. License Granted to NEMUZY
To operate the platform, you grant NEMUZY a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable license to:
- Host your content.
- Store your content securely.
- Stream your music to listeners.
- Display album artwork.
- Display artist information.
- Create previews where applicable.
- Promote your releases within the NEMUZY platform.
- Index your music for search and discovery.
- Cache content for performance and security purposes.
This license exists solely for operating and promoting the NEMUZY platform.
Ownership always remains with you.
3. Your Responsibilities
By uploading content you confirm that:
- You own the rights to the uploaded content, or
- You have all necessary licenses and permissions.
You are responsible for ensuring that your uploads do not infringe the rights of others.
This includes:
- Copyright
- Trademark
- Personality rights
- Privacy rights
- Other intellectual property rights
4. Upload Requirements
Artists may upload:
- Original music
- Album artwork
- Artist photos
- Lyrics
- Promotional content
- Release information
You may not upload:
- Stolen music
- Copyrighted material without permission
- Fake artist profiles
- Misleading metadata
- Malware or harmful files
- Illegal content
5. Metadata Accuracy
Artists agree to provide accurate information including:
- Artist name
- Song title
- Album title
- Release information
- Genre
- Contributors
- Copyright owner
- ISRC or other identifiers where applicable
Providing false or misleading information may result in removal of content.
6. AI-Assisted Content
NEMUZY welcomes innovation, including AI-assisted creative workflows.
However, artists remain fully responsible for ensuring that uploaded material:
- Complies with applicable laws.
- Does not infringe copyright.
- Meets platform requirements.
- Includes any disclosures required by law or distribution partners.
Using AI tools does not remove the artist’s legal responsibilities.
7. Streaming Rights
By uploading music, you authorize NEMUZY to stream your content to users through the platform.
Streaming is limited to the operation of NEMUZY and does not transfer ownership of your work.
Where technically appropriate, NEMUZY may use secure streaming technologies to help protect your content.
8. Copyright Protection
NEMUZY is committed to protecting creators.
We may implement technical measures including:
- Secure streaming
- Access controls
- Temporary streaming URLs
- Abuse detection
- Content moderation
- Copyright reporting tools
These measures are intended to reduce unauthorized copying while maintaining a high-quality listening experience.
9. Copyright Infringement
If you believe your copyrighted work has been uploaded without authorization, please contact us.
A copyright report should include:
- Your full name.
- Your contact information.
- Identification of the copyrighted work.
- The URL of the reported content.
- A statement explaining your claim.
- A declaration that the information is accurate.
Incomplete reports may require additional information before they can be processed.
10. Review Process
When a copyright complaint is received, NEMUZY may:

- Contact the uploader.
- Temporarily restrict access.
- Remove content where appropriate.
- Restore content if a valid counter-notification is accepted.
Every report is reviewed individually.
11. Counter Notification

NEMUZY may review the information before deciding whether content should be restored.
12. Repeat Copyright Violations
Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright may face:
- Content removal.

- Temporary suspension.
- Permanent account termination.
Protecting creators is essential to maintaining a trusted platform.
13. Platform Integrity
Artists may not attempt to manipulate the platform through:
- Artificial streaming.
- Bots.
- Purchased engagement.
- Fake followers.
- Fraudulent activity.
- False ownership claims.
Authentic music deserves authentic recognition.
14. Account Termination
If an artist account is closed or removed:
- Public profile information may be removed.
- Uploaded content may become unavailable.
- Copyright ownership remains with the creator.
NEMUZY may retain limited records where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
15. Limitation of Liability
While NEMUZY works to provide a secure and reliable platform, we cannot guarantee that copyright infringement by third parties will never occur.
Artists remain responsible for protecting their intellectual property and ensuring they possess the necessary rights to upload content.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

As NEMUZY evolves and copyright laws develop, these Artist Terms & Copyright Policy may be updated.
